Pay Scale: Level-2 (Rs.19,900-44,400/-) in the Pay Matrix.
Age limit: 18 to 28 years (born between 22.01.1997 to 22.01.2007).
Mizoram Police Recruitment Education Qualification
- HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) or equivalent qualification passed from a recognized Board for UB, AB & Mechanic Constables.
- Constable (Mechanic) applicant should have completed 1(one) year training course in the concerned Trade at the Industrial Training Institute or its equivalent institution.
- Constable (Mechanic) applicant should have work experience of at least 5(five) years in Government or private automobile Workshop as a Mechanic.
Mizoram Police Recruitment Other Qualification
- There shall be a practical test/demonstration where the knowledge of the candidates and their skill shall be tested in their own trade for Constable (Mechanic) applicants.
- Sportsperson applicants should have certificate of eligibility issued by the Director of Sports & Youth Services, Government of Mizoram.
- There shall be no written examination for candidates applying through Meritorious Sportsperson quota.

The recruitment process will be conducted range-wise:
- Northern Range ‘A’ (3rd Bn. MAP, Mualpui, Aizawl): For Districts: Aizawl, Mamit & Kolasib.
- G Northern Range ‘B’ (5th IR Bn., Lungverh, Alzawl): For Districts: Aizawl, Mamit & Kolasitb.
- Eastern Range (Khawzawl): For Districts: Champhai, Saitual, Khawzawl & Serchhip.
- Southern Range (Lunglel); For Districts: Siaha, Lawngtlai, Lunglei & Hnahthial.
