- Qualification: MBBS from a recognized university/college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
- Experience: Candidates with only an MBBS degree need a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General Practitioner, counted from the date of NMC/State Medical Council registration.

Min. 25 – 35 years, Candidates must be within the specified age range as on 31.05.2026 The age is calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in official documents.

SBI SCO Recruitment Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I) with a basic pay structure, In addition to basic pay, officers receive DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, NPS contribution, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), and medical facilities as per Bank rules.
- Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA): 20% of Basic Pay.
- Higher Start: One increment for a postgraduate diploma; two increments for MD/MS or equivalent.
- Private Practice: Not permitted for BMOs.
- Conference Allowance: One local and one national medical conference may be permitted, subject to approval.
SBI SCO Recruitment Selection
The selection process involves three stages – an Online Written Test, an Interview, and a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) – with the final merit list based on 70% weightage to the written test and 30% to the interview. - Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) – Conducted for provisionally selected candidates before joining; candidates with 10th/12th mark sheets showing the relevant local language as a subject are exempted.
- Final Result & Wait List – A circle-wise and category-wise wait list valid for one year (or until a fresh advertisement, whichever is earlier) is maintained for non-joining or termination cases.
