Name of Exam: TPSC Fishery Officer Examination 2025
Name of Posts: Fishery Officer, TFFS Grade-I, Group-B Gazetted
No of Posts: 53 Vacancy
Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree from any recognized University.
- A minimum of a four-year degree in Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc) from a recognized university or institution.
- A Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is required for all applicants.
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok language.
- Familiarity with Tripura’s aqua-climatic conditions.
- Basic computer skills.
- If you have studied at an ICAR-affiliated institution, that’s a plus!
Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 15-02-2025. Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/ PwDs(PH) / Government Employee candidates.
Provided that Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/ PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available
to them.
Pay Scale: Pay Scale of Level-13 of Rs. 10,230/- to Rs.34,800/- Per Month, Grade Pay Rs. 4,800/-
