TPSC PA Recruitment Details
The Educational Qualification and Age are mentioned below:-
Educational qualification (choose one)
1.1. Option A — Higher Secondary route:
- The candidate shall have passed Higher Secondary (H.S. +2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University.
- Minimum 35% marks on average.
1.2. Option B — Madhyamik & Stenography route: - The candidate shall have passed the Madhyamik (secondary) examination, and completed a Stenography Course from any ITI.
- Minimum 35% marks in Madhyamik.
Computer knowledge
- The candidate shall have knowledge of operating a computer.
- Must hold a certificate of computer training from any Government, Government-recognized, or Government-registered institution or university.
- The computer course/certificate must be of at least 3 (three) months’ duration.
- Others:
- PRTC required.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
Age Limit For PA Stenographer
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 40 Years
- TPSC provides age relaxation for the Personal Assistant Stenographer position as per their regulations.

TPSC PA Recruitment Selection Process
The recruitment process will comprise of three successive stages, viz.
- Preliminary Examination – 100 marks
- Туpe Writing (using Computer) of 100 marks and Shorthand Writing & Transcription (using Computer) of 200 marks
- Main Examination of 250 marks(Conventional Type Test)
